Nissan just made its 400-horsepower Z sports car significantly more affordable. New incentives rolled out this month offer potential savings of up to $4,000 on the 2024 model, potentially dropping its price tag near the $40,000 mark.
This deal represents the most substantial rebate package offered for the latest-generation Nissan Z since its launch. The move follows a strong sales year in 2024, where the Z outsold the Toyota GR Supra, so Nissan is likely trying to capitalize on that momentum while it can.
Deep Discounts
According to information sent to dealers seen by CarsDirect, the new national offers for the 2024 Nissan Z run through April 30. The $4,000 maximum savings comes from combining two offers:
- A $3,000 Customer Cash rebate, available directly to buyers (a $500 increase from prior offers).
- A $1,000 Dealer Cash incentive, paid to the dealership, which can be passed on to lower the final sale price.

Buyers choosing special financing instead must forgo these cash rebates. Current finance offers through NMAC include rates like 1.9% APR for 36 months or 2.9% APR for 60 months on the 2024 Z.
While there are no direct customer rebates on the incoming 2025 Nissan Z models as of now, dealers are being offered a separate $2,000 “Wholesale Certificate” incentive to stock them.
Undercutting the Competition
The impact of these rebates on the 2024 Z is significant. With the full $4,000 potential discount, the base Nissan Z Sport, which carries an MSRP of $42,210 plus destination fees, could effectively sell for as low as $40,110.
This places the 400-horsepower Z far below its main competitor, the six-cylinder 2025 Toyota GR Supra 3.0, which has a starting price tag of $56,900 before delivery. It even makes the base Z potentially cheaper than a gently used four-cylinder Supra 2.0. For 2024, the last year of the 2.0 Supra, it had an MSRP of $46,440. A cursory glance shows at least 30 for sale nationally, with many priced around or above new MSRP! The four-cylinder Supra also offers significantly less power than the Z at 255 hp.
