The company is now offering 15 unique satin paint options for its vehicles. Each car receiving a satin finish first arrives at the Excellence Center for Bespoke Paint in a gloss color before it is hand-sanded, cleaned, masked, dusted, and cleaned a second time. The firm’s expert craftsmen and women then apply a clear lacquer in two stages to achieve the perfect satin finish.

Bentley takes 55 hours to paint one of its vehicles in a special satin shade. The new colors were developed by a team of experts at the firm’s factory in Crewe, England, and each has undergone stringent testing to ensure it meets Bentley’s standards. The Continental GT, Continental GT Convertible, Bentayga, Bentayga Extended Wheelbase, and Flying Spur are all available in the full suite of satin colors.

Last year, 75% of all Bentley customers added bespoke Mulliner content to their car. When Bentley finishes work on its new paint shop in 2025, all future satin paints will be applied there. Pricing details for the new satin colors haven’t been announced but it shouldn’t be an issue for the brand’s customers.

The extended range of satin options comes just before Bentley lifts the veil on the 2025 Continental GT. The new model will feature a plug-in hybrid twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 pumping out 771 hp and 738 lb-ft (1,000 Nm) of torque, significantly more than the 650 hp and 664 lb-ft (900 Nm) of the outgoing W12.
