Mopar Reveals $70,000 Limited-Edition Jeep Gladiator With Lots Of Cool Toys

Key Takeaways

  • Priced at $70,295, Mopar’s Jeep Gladiator offers improved aesthetics and features via JPP parts.
  • Features include heavy-duty rock rails, a triple-hoop grille guard, a spray-in bedliner, and interior upgrades.
  • Buyers receive an 83-piece tool kit and a personalized certificate of authenticity.

Mopar has revealed a new special edition based on the Jeep Gladiator Rubicon. 250 units will be produced, but the idea is that you can buy just about anything seen on this Gladiator through the Jeep Performance Parts catalog. It’s a similar strategy to that seen with the Jeep Wrangler JPP 20, for example. If you’d rather not have the hassle of fitting your own parts, the new Mopar model is already arriving at dealerships around the country. Speaking of, this limited-run off-roader will only be available for the US market (sorry, Canada).

Simply dubbed the Mopar ’24 Jeep Gladiator, the special edition has a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $70,295 (excluding $1,895 for destination). A regular 2024 Jeep Gladiator, for the record, starts at just under $40,000 and tops out at just below $65,000, so what does the Mopar version offer for all that extra scratch?

Jeep Performance Parts Scattered About

Mopar has subtly improved this Gladiator, uplifting it with heavy-duty rock rails, a triple-hoop grille guard, a color-matched hardtop, a spray-on bedliner, front and rear grab handles, and a custom Mopar badge on the tailgate. The interior headliner has also been replaced with a Mopar item, and black sill trim and all-weather floor mats have been added. In terms of aesthetics, you get gloss black paint with matte black, grey, and red decals and JPP branding on the hood, bedsides, and tailgate. A set of 17-inch aluminum wheels with black-painted inserts are mounted on Falken all-terrain rubber.

In case you were wondering, the engine is still the ubiquitous 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 delivering 285 horsepower. The interior isn’t much different either, but people love the Wrangler and Gladiator as they are. Two-tone Katzkin leather seats mix black and Maraschino Red, while Omega M Mopar logos on the front perches drive home the special-edition nature of the vehicle. The center console and seat bolsters also boast the contrasting rouge hue, matching the stitching. Finally, a serialized plaque behind the shifter reminds you of how scarce this Gladiator is.

Warm rubber offers more traction. Grip is good for climbing things. See where we’re going with this?

Along with the Gladiator pickup itself, each of the 250 buyers will get a personalized certificate of authenticity with the serialized vehicle-build number of their truck, a render created by the Mopar design team, “and more.” We’re more excited by the 83-piece JPP tool kit, which comes in a “reusable gift box” and features dedicated tool pockets for the stuff already included and an expandable bag for adding your own tools. Pricing for other JPP upgrades available for the Gladiator is as follows:

  • Two-inch lift kit with Bilstein shocks: $2,095
  • Beadlock-wheel functional lock ring kit: $300 (per ring)
  • Tube door kit: $1,545
  • Mesh tube door covers: $337
  • Mirror kit for tube doors: $279
  • Doors off mirror kit: $498
  • Performance wiper kit: $157
  • JPP branded tool kit: $543
