You’d Have To Be Insane To Take Mansory’s Lamborghini Huracán Sterrato Off-Road

Key Takeaways

  • Mansory aesthetically tunes Lamborghini Huracán Sterrato, replacing hardy plastics with loads of forged carbon fiber.
  • Mansory’s retrimmed interior features a roof-mounted start/stop button.
  • Upholstery is a mix of green Alcantara, red contrast piping, and black leather.

The 1,499-unit Lamborghini Huracán Sterrato was revealed in 2022 as an all-terrain warrior based on Sant’Agata’s littlest supercar, and to ensure it could safely navigate the unbeaten path without suffering too much damage, it got loads of unique upgrades. Among these were reinforced side sills, a hardier diffuser, and plastic wheel arch cladding.

But now Mansory has thrown all of that out of the window with its tuned take on the off-road supercar, undoing all of the protective upgrades to create an attention-grabbing showpiece that will never see so much as a dusty road. Sure, Lamborghini’s are all about the wow factor, but by fitting shiny carbon fiber where sturdy plastic once lived, this Sterrato has contradicted its own ethos.

Forged Carbon Fiber Overload

Mansory loves excess, particularly when it comes to forged carbon fiber, and the Sterrato is yet more evidence thereof, with the hood, hood spotlight housings, mirror caps, bumper accents, diffuser, skid plates, roof pillars, wheel arches, side skirts, roof scoop, engine cover, and rear wing all made of the composite material. Even the door handles feature forged carbon.

At least the non-carbon parts are black, helping create a somewhat coherent look. Although it’s clear that this package makes the Sterrato unsuitable for off-road use, Mansory still fitted wheels that look as if they would be at home on a pickup truck. The Mansory FO.6 wheels measure 19×8.5 inches at the front and 11 inches wide at the rear, maintaining the same width as the stock wheels.

Interior Isn’t (That) Ugly

Inside, Mansory’s Huracán Sterrato wears a mixture of olive green Alcantara, black leather, and red highlights, as well as even more carbon fiber. The tuner’s logo has been added to the floormats, headrests, and knee pads on the center console, and the steering wheel airbag also bears Mansory’s mark. In addition, new foot pedals have been fitted and the start/stop button has been relocated to the roof, creating a fighter jet feel a la McLaren Senna. Where it used to reside in the center console is now a plaque displaying yet another Mansory logo along with the colors of the Italian flag, which also appear on the exterior rear wing endplates. Performance appears to be unchanged, but the tuner has extracted over 1,000 horsepower from the 5.2-liter V10 engine in the past, thanks to the addition of turbochargers. Pricing has not been announced, but it won’t be low.
