Q6 e-tron Has Strong Early Estimates
307 miles is strong and compares reasonably well with rivals from Tesla, Polestar, and Mercedes-Benz. Despite its advanced age, the Model X remains a class leader when it comes to range, with an EPA-estimated figure of 335 miles. The Polestar 4 Long range Single motor manages 300 miles, while the Mercedes EQE 350+ has an EPA-estimated range of 307 miles.

The more powerful SQ6 e-tron, with up to 509 hp with launch control activated (483 hp in normal use), can hit 60 mph in 4.1 seconds and has a slightly higher top speed of 143 mph. However, what customers gain in performance, they lose in range, with the SQ6 e-tron expected to achieve a range of 276 miles, based on early manufacturer estimates. While not quite as good as the Q6 e-tron, the SQ6 estimates are on par with rivals.

Estimates Put The SQ6 e-tron Ahead Of Most Rivals
The Polestar 4 Long range Dual motor has a 270-mile range, while the Mercedes EQE 500 4Matic offers up 282 miles of range. The AMG EQE SUV isn’t quite as frugal, with an EPA estimate of 235 miles. The Model X Plaid can’t be considered a rival (it is considerably faster), but it’s worth noting that it offers a strong range of 326 miles despite the supercar-like performance.

Should the Q6 e-tron obtain an official EPA rating that matches the estimate (likely, since the EPA doesn’t test every model and often relies on manufacturer-supplied figures), it will have the highest range of any electric Audi currently on sale. The Q8 e-tron Sportback has an EPA-estimated range of 300 miles, which is significantly better than the model it replaced; with 21- or 22-inch wheels, the old e-tron S (with 496 hp) managed a mere 181 miles, according to the EPA. The Q6 e-tron will do much better once the official figures are revealed. Let’s not forget that a Q6 e-tron Performance model is also in the cards and may have an EPA estimate as high as 355 miles once it arrives.
