The – presumably electric – concept will premiere later today at the Goodwood Festival of Speed

- MG will show a new Cyber GTS Concept at Goodwood.
- The official teaser suggests it is a coupe version of the MG Cyberster roadster
- It is not clear if the concept is a design study or if there are plans for production.
MG announced a surprising debut for the 2024 Goodwood Festival of Speed, with a teaser of the Cyber GTS Concept. The model appears to be a closed-roof sibling of the MG Cyberster roadster, making us curious whether it is a design study or a preview of a future production model.
The dark teaser suggests that the MG Cyber GTS Concept shares most of its bodywork with the Cyberster, including the entire front end. However, the retractable fabric top has been replaced by a fixed roof, resulting in a sleeker roofline and a redesigned rear deck. Overall, the model looks like a fitting rival to the upcoming Porsche 718 Cayman EV, whilst continuing the heritage of the classic MGB GT from the ’60s.

MG didn’t share any technical information about the concept, other than confirming it will debut later today. Given the strong correlation with the MG Cyberster, we can assume it will ride on the same architecture, coming with a fully electric powertrain. The most potent version of the roadster produces 536 hp (400 kW / 544 PS) from dual electric motors, sourcing energy from a 77 kWh battery pack.
We will update this story with more details and photos once the MG Cyber GTS Concept breaks cover. Besides the coupe, MG will also show the new generation of the HS SUV at Goodwood.
