There’s Only One Way To Get The Jeep Wrangler High Tide Edition

Key Takeaways

  • Jeep reveals limited Gladiator High Tide Edition, only available in Florida.
  • Priced at $48,275, the High Tide edition receives plenty of luxury features and unique styling touches.
  • The latest Gladiator special edition follows the 21st annual Jeep Beach event in Daytona Beach.

Jeep has revealed a new special edition of the Gladiator pickup truck, but you can only have one if you live in Florida. It’s called the High Tide Edition and will be made available exclusively to customers living in the Sunshine State. Following the 21st annual Jeep Beach event in Daytona Beach, the truck arrives with a host of special touches. As a reminder, the Gladiator received a mid-cycle update last year with subtle styling revisions and improved tech.

Based on the Sport S trim, the High Tide Edition receives plenty of standard equipment to improve comfort and off-road ability. Black 17-inch wheels wrapped in 32-inch tires and steel rock rails will come in handy on rough terrain, and so will the Jeep Command-Trac 4×4 and two-speed transfer case with a 2.72:1 low-range ratio.

High Tide Edition Gets Plenty Of Standard Kit

Additional luxuries make the truck nicer to drive on a daily basis. These include heated and power-adjustable front seats, a heated steering wheel, adaptive cruise control, power mirrors and windows, first- and second-row side-curtain airbags, keyless entry, and black McKinley-trimmed seats. A body-colored hardtop and 12.3-inch Uconnect 5 touchscreen are also part of the package.

With more standard features than the Sport S, the High Tide Edition has a higher price tag. It retails for $48,275, which is $6,285 more than the model it’s based on. That’s a big chunk of change, but the appeal of the special edition and all the extra equipment help justify the loftier MSRP.

“Florida’s annual Jeep Beach event, attended this year by 250,000 people and 40,000 Jeep SUVs and midsize pickup trucks over the two weekends, is one of the largest Jeep brand gatherings globally and a testament to Floridians’ deep passion for our 4×4 vehicles. This Jeep Gladiator High Tide Edition celebrates their spirit with a model specifically built for the sunshine state.”

Special Touches Set The High Tide Apart From Other Gladiators

The High Tide receives special exterior graphics on the hood and model-specific badging. Customers can select from six exterior colors: Anvil, Bright White, Granite Crystal, Firecracker Red, Hydro Blue, and Black. Unfortunately, the automaker hasn’t shared additional photos of the exterior or interior. Jeep does not mention the powertrain, but the Gladiator is available exclusively with a 3.6-liter V6 that develops 285 hp and 260 lb-ft. A manual transmission is standard, but an eight-speed auto can be specified at extra cost. Soon, Jeep will introduce a plug-in hybrid 4xe variant, but it hasn’t set a reveal date yet.

This isn’t the first time Jeep has introduced unique Gladiators built for specific states. In March, the Texas Trail special edition was launched for, yes, you guessed it, Texas. This is the second time it was made available, having first launched in 2021. If you don’t live in Florida or Texas, Jeep has introduced several other limited editions in recent months, including the beach-themed Wrangler and Gladiator, which were also built to celebrate the Jeep Beach event.
