Jeep Smallest SUV Gets A Single Lonely Upgrade For 2025

Key Takeaways

  • The 2025 Jeep Compass arrives with minimal changes; a limited edition Joose exterior color is now available.
  • Minor price increases, with the base trim $595 more expensive than before.
  • Five trims are available for MY2025 – Sport, Latitude, Latitude Lux, Limited, and Trailhawk.

Jeep has revealed model year updates for the 2025 Jeep Compass. The baby of the Jeep brand, the Compass is in a highly competitive segment, battling popular contenders like the Mazda CX-30, Chevrolet Trax, and Kia Seltos. So what has Jeep done to keep the Compass fresh? Not much really. Aside from adding a limited edition exterior color called Joose, everything is the same. Changes are minimal, as the MY2024 Compass received more substantial updates last year.

The Latitude Lux will continue to be offered for MY2025, but Jeep has yet to release pricing. MY2024 Latitude Lux trims receive 18-inch wheels, a heated steering wheel, and leather-trimmed seats with heating and power functionality for the front row. Adaptive cruise control, rain-sensing wipers, and rear park assist are also part of the package.

More Luxurious Trims Are Available, But You Pay A Lot More

For 2025, the Compass Limited receives diamond-cut 18-inch alloys, along with faux leather upholstery, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, and available two-tone paint (paired with a gloss black roof). Customers can also specify Active Driving Assist, along with a 360-degree Surround-View camera and wireless charging pad. The Limited, as well as the Latitude, are available with the Altitude Package.

Those looking for a more adventurous Compass trim can opt for the Trailhawk. It receives black-painted 17-inch wheels wrapped in all-terrain tires, along with off-road suspension, four skid plates, and three tow hooks. Jeep says the Trailhawk has a 20:1 crawl ratio, and a one-inch lift that improves off-roading capability. It also receives adaptive cruise control, rear park assist, and automatic headlights. All Compass models are powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 200 horsepower and 221 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to all four wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission. The pricing mentioned above does not include Jeep’s $1,595 destination charge.

Exterior And Interior Colors

There are five fewer colors to choose from, with the 2025 Compass available in the following hues:

  • Silver Zynith
  • Bright White
  • Diamond Black
  • Hydro Blue
  • Joose (limited edition, late availability)
  • Red Hot

Just two interior colors are available:

  • Black
  • Black and sepia (available on Limited)
