Rolls-Royce has unveiled the all-new Ghost II, and the first thing that strikes you is the newly updated front end, which now gets an illuminated Pantheon grille, redesigned headlight graphics, and most obviously, restyled headlight units themselves. This treatment brings the styling in line with that of the recently updated Cullinan SUV, while at the rear of the Ghost, the taillights are inspired by those on the all-electric Spectre.

More Luxury Than Ever
There’s also a new Extended version available for both regular and Black Badge models, adding an extra 6.69 inches in the second row, and Goodwood says this was “enabled by extending the rear doors and apertures only,” preserving the silhouette of the sedan. This model can be specified with Serenity Seating, which offers reclining luxury seats, and as usual, a champagne cooler (with specific temperature settings for vintage and non-vintage champagnes) can also be specified.

All Ghost models also get an updated Spirit operating system with Whispers app integration. This is housed within a new pillar-to-pillar glass panel, and there’s a new Spirit of Ecstasy clock cabinet and illuminated dash. Also noteworthy is a new interface for seat passengers to adjust streaming and seating elements from the rear screens, and an upgraded 1,400-watt amplifier for the 18-speaker sound system.
New Interior Features
Ghost now offered Grey-Stained Ash wood and Duality Twill accent options, the latter of which is a bamboo-based embroidered textile with 2.2 million stitches and 11 miles of thread. The aforementioned interior lighting system gets a new welcome sequence, too, but one area that remains the same is the engine, which is still a 6.75-liter V12. However, the automaker has improved the Planar Suspension System for an even more refined ride.

Pricing for the new Ghost has not been revealed, but that’s of little consequence anyway because most buyers will likely spend fortunes on Bespoke upgrades over and above what the updated Ghost already provides.
