  • The first official teaser of the Audi Q6 Sportback e-tron showcases its stylish SUV coupe design.
  • The Audi Q6 Sportback e-tron is set to premiere at the Paris Auto Show on October 14.
  • Performance enthusiasts can expect the EV to be available in S and RS versions upon release.

Audi has quietly dropped a teaser for the Sportback version of the Q6 E-tron, confirming its official debut on October 14 at the 2024 Paris Auto Show. The fully electric SUV coupe is slated for a market launch in 2025.

The lone teaser image highlights the Sportback’s sloping roofline and revamped tail, signaling its role in expanding the Q6 E-tron lineup. This will be the fourth Audi SUV to offer a choice of two bodystyle variants, following the ICE-powered Q3 and Q5, and the all-electric Q4 E-tron.

As expected from earlier spy shots, the Sportback iteration features a reworked greenhouse and a ducktail spoiler. The sculpted fenders and LED taillights carry over from the standard model, as does the shark-fin antenna. A glimpse of the charging port, discreetly placed on the rear fender, can also be spotted.

The Sportback’s reveal was quietly slipped into a broader announcement celebrating the five-star Euro NCAP safety rating of the Q6 E-tron, which also applies to the closely related Sportback variant, as well as the performance-focused S and RS versions.

The coupe-crossover will most likely share the electric powertrain options with the Q6 e-tron. The PPE-based model is available in single-motor and dual-motor guises, fitted with 83 kWh or 100 kWh battery packs. The fastest version is the SQ6 e-tron with 509 hp (380 kW / 516 PS), although an even more powerful RS Q6 e-tron will follow in the near future, rumored to produce over 600 hp.

Earlier this year, our spy photographers caught a Dakar-style prototype of the Audi Q6 Sportback e-tron. The model was wrapped in camouflage and featured several off-road modifications including a wide bodykit, a lifted suspension, and all-terrain tires.

As of now, it’s unclear whether Audi will showcase both the production-spec Q6 Sportback E-tron and the rugged prototype at the Paris Auto Show, or save the latter for another occasion.
