Dartz’ Crocodile-Skinned Prombron Makes Mansory Look Tame

  • The Latvian company originally built the vehicle to star in a Hollywood film.
  • There’s no word on how many miles this weird creation has under its belt.
  • Power is provided by the original Hummer V8 and automatic transmission.

Dartz has been cranking out some of the most bizarre, attention-grabbing vehicles on the planet for years. Now, as the Latvian automaker gears up to produce its creations in the States, it’s putting one of its eccentric creations up for sale at Barrett-Jackson. The auction will take place in Palm Beach from April 24 to 26, and, unsurprisingly, this is one ride you won’t forget anytime soon.

The star of the show is the Prombron Black Stallion, which, despite its dramatic name, is based on a Hummer H2. Dartz claims it was originally built for a Hollywood movie and made its way into the U.S. earlier this year. While Barrett-Jackson hasn’t publicized a pre-auction estimate for the vehicle, those who want to order a new Black Stallion from Dartz will need to cough up at least $500,000.

The Latvian company left no stone unturned in overhauling the design the Hummer’s design. The original body panels have been replaced with all-new parts, inspired by tough and rugged military vehicles. It’s also painted in a matte black shade that, despite the “stealthy” label, is anything but subtle, and it rides on a set of aftermarket wheels.aftermarket wheels.

Radical changes have also been made to the interior. It’s now trimmed in brown and white leather with what is said to be crocodile skin. Being a Hummer under the skin, the cabin looks very spacious, although it doesn’t look to be of particularly high quality.

The listing gives us basically nothing when it comes to the vehicle’s condition. No clue how many miles it’s racked up, and good luck finding any solid info about the V8 engine or the automatic transmission. Still, if you’re seriously considering dropping some hot cash on this rolling enigma, maybe take a look at the listing yourself over here and decide if you’re up for a game of automotive Latvian roulette.

While we think there’s a good chance someone will buy this weird H2, we can’t imagine anyone will be willing to fork out an exorbitant sum for it. Sure, it’s eye-catching, but not necessarily in a good way. However, that’s just us; what do you think of the crocodile-infused Prombron Black Stallion?
