With yesterday’s announcement of big tariffs on vehicles imported from around the world, today vehicle prices are going up across the board, right? Not exactly. Ford has just announced that it is currently offering discounts on virtually every vehicle it makes.
Ford
Ford is one of America’s oldest automakers and one of the oldest in the world, popularized for being the first to effectively mass produce the automobile under Henry Ford with the Ford Model T. In over 120 years, Ford has become a sales leader in a variety of segments, with popular nameplates like the Ford F-150, Transit, and Mustang.

Ford, like most automakers in the first three months of the year, has been riding on a sales high. It is hoping to keep that momentum flowing for as long as it can, even if it takes big discounts on popular models like the F-150 to do it.
Employee Pricing For Everyone – For Now
Visit Ford’s website and you’re met with a jingoistic new splash page. “Ford Motor Company. From America. For America” the page reads. The larger text, and the more significant for most, are the lines that say “Employee Pricing” and “You pay what we pay.”
Employee pricing has been a strong way to draw demand for Ford since it first used the program during the 2008 recession. It has been used multiple times since then, promising to give average customers the same price as Ford’s own workers. We’re not sure Ford employees are happy you can get their deals, but just how accurate employee pricing is may be up for debate.

Surprise! 2025 Ford Maverick Gets More Power Than We Expected
Formerly thought to only produce 238 horsepower due to emissions restrictions, the 2025 Ford Maverick’s EcoBoost engine actually makes 250 horses.
The discounts apply to most Ford and Lincoln vehicles, with both 2024 and 2025 models benefitting:
There are limits. For the Super Duty and Expedition as well as the Lincoln Navigator, only 2024 models are included. Explorer and Aviator are 2025 only.
Sorry, No Smoking Deals On Dark Horse Or Raptors
Some of Ford’s coolest models are excluded, with all Raptor models off the list, as well as the Mustang Dark Horse. Unsurprisingly, the GTD is also excluded, and Chassis cabs are also ineligible. Terms and conditions apply, and customers must take delivery by June 2.
Prices on Ford’s site haven’t yet been updated to show the discounts, so if you’re interested, you’re in for a trip to your dealer. Data from Cox Automotive shows that those dealers have approximately a month more inventory than the industry average, so they’re certainly motivated to move product out the door.

Ford Knows Where The F-150 Loses Out To The Silverado And Ram 1500
Ford is seeing positive results from its most capable and best-equipped pickups, but it has work to do in other areas.
Ford may be the best-positioned automaker to weather the 25 percent tariffs on vehicles and higher amounts on components and materials. The company says it is number one for US vehicle assembly and it builds all of its F-Series trucks in the US.
Of course, the number of parts used in a modern vehicle, and the materials that go into it, mean that every automaker will be affected. Which means that once these discounts are over, buyers could be in for some serious sticker shock.
